Choosing and using a chew safely
Start by noticing what your child chews now. A child who destroys everything may need the Tough Bar, while a child who chews pencils at school may do better with a pencil topper. Supervise use, check the chew regularly for wear, and replace it if it is damaged. If your child swallows non-food items, talk to a healthcare professional promptly. Chew Stixx FAQ
Are Chew Stixx safe?
They are made from FDA-compliant materials free of latex, lead, BPA, phthalates and silicone. As with any chew tool, supervise use and replace it if it shows wear or damage.
Do Chew Stixx come in flavors?
Yes. Many Chew Stixx are available in multiple flavors, and the Tough Bar comes in 11.
What if my child chews through everything?
The Tough Bar is designed for aggressive chewers.
Do I need a therapist's advice before choosing one?
Not necessarily, but if chewing is intense or interferes with eating, sleep or school, an occupational therapist can help match a tool to your child.
