WRITE TRACK HANDWRITING IMPROVEMENT SYSTEM
Simply put, WriteTrack is different than almost any other pediatric handwriting device currently available.
While many existing products focus on individual letter formation and penmanship, WriteTrack focuses on word and sentence formation.
DURABILITY
WriteTrack has been manufactured for easy storage and transport as it folds flat. The vinyl covering is non-skid, durable, and can be wiped clean.
TACTILE RESPONSIVE
The foam strip on the bottom of the writing window provides tactile response, giving the user a physical stimuli and yet remains flexible enough to allow the user to push down in order to form letters which dip below the writing line (i.e., "g", "j", "p", "q" and "y").
NORMALCY
WriteTrack has been designed to look like a traditional 3-ring binder so that children do not feel out-of-place in the classroom during writing and reading exercises.
Quote from the Creator
"I developed WriteTrack because I saw that there was a specific need for this type of device. After working in nearly every pediatric setting, I noticed that many of my referrals were to address handwriting skills. There are many products available; however I could not find one that would address sizing and spacing issues regarding handwriting. In addition, I also noted that many of the children I was blessed to work with had trouble with attention and sensory processing skills. These deficits make moving the eyes separately from the head challenging, resulting in reduced attention to visually cluttered worksheets, lack of interest inreading, and avoidance behaviors that was not helpful to the child, family, or classroom setting. After many attempts to create WriteTrack, and with frequent feedback from parents, special education teachers, regular education teachers, reading specialists, and the children themselves, I developed the current product. It has taken me many years, with the support of my family, to develop this product. It would be one of the best-met goals in my life to help children without having to be physically with them." - Jill S. Feldman OTR/L C/SIPT
